The Century Legacy Promise

Honoring the Memory & The Material

To us, jewelry is not just an accessory; it is a memory made tangible. We are honored to craft pieces meant to be cherished for a lifetime, and we stand firmly behind the quality and craftsmanship of every piece that leaves our studio.

Because we believe in the heirloom quality of our work, we offer a Limited Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty.

Our Craftsmanship Guarantee

We warrant to the original purchaser that all Century Fine Jewelry pieces will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner.

How It Works:
If you believe your item has a structural issue, we invite you to return it to us for an inspection.

  • If we determine the issue is a manufacturing defect: We will repair or replace the item at no cost to you.
  • If the item is vintage or one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced: We may offer a similar replacement of equal value or a store credit refund.

Shipping Costs:

  • First 30 Days: If a defect is discovered within 30 days of delivery, we will provide a prepaid shipping label for the return.
  • After 30 Days: You cover the shipping to our studio; we cover the insured shipping back to you.

Lifetime Care & Sparkle (Complimentary Services)

To ensure your ring remains as brilliant as the day you said "yes," we offer complimentary professional cleaning and prong inspections.

We recommend this service every six months to maintain brilliance and ensure your stones remain tight and secure. Failure to perform regular inspections may result in necessary repairs falling outside the scope of this warranty.

Protecting Your Heirloom (Conditions & Exclusions)

Fine jewelry is delicate by nature. Our guarantee covers the structure of the ring as we made it, but it does not cover the life lived in it.

The "Favorite Shoes" Philosophy (Normal Wear)
Just like the soles of your favorite shoes, gold and platinum prongs wear down over time due to friction against hard surfaces. This is not a defect; it is a sign that the ring is being loved and worn.

  • During your inspections, we will advise you if your prongs have worn down and require paid maintenance to keep your stones secure.
  • The rebuilding of worn prongs or shanks (the band) due to normal wear is a maintenance requirement and is not covered by the warranty.

Lifestyle Factors
Precious metals and porous gemstones can be affected by their environment. Our warranty does not cover:

  • Discoloration or damage caused by exposure to harsh chemicals, makeup, lotions, swimming pools, or hot tubs.
  • Bent rings caught on gym equipment, heavy furniture, or other impact damage.
  • Loss of center stones (see Insurance section below).

The "Too Many Cooks" Rule (Third-Party Repairs)

We strongly recommend returning to Century Fine Jewelry for all repairs and resizing to ensure the integrity of the piece.

  • Please Note: If another jeweler resizes, repairs, or modifies your Century Fine Jewelry piece, and that work causes damage or structural failure, our warranty is voided regarding that specific issue. We cannot guarantee the integrity of work performed by other hands.

Insurance

Our warranty covers the setting, while insurance covers the unexpected.

Since our warranty does not cover loss of stones due to wear, theft, accidental damage, or loss of the item, we highly recommend obtaining personal jewelry insurance to protect against significant financial loss.

Our Recommendation: We love Jewelers Mutual for their comprehensive coverage, giving you total peace of mind for the things we cannot control.
